Smart Support for Resourcing and Smoother Care Hour Bookings

We will be performing update and maintenance work on the VakaCloud service on Friday, October 16, starting at 18.00. The update focuses on lightening the administrative burden and freeing up time for what matters most – the actual early childhood education work. The update brings anticipated improvements for the daycare management, staff, and families.

New Features and Improvements

• New Reporting Tool (Smart Reports): We are introducing a new reporting section for daycare management and authorized staff. The first feature to be released is the tracking of actual care hours. The tool automatically detects discrepancies between booked and realized care hours, optimizing staff resourcing and facilitating discussions with guardians.
• Smooth Care Hour Management for Families: We have revamped the booking view for families. With the new mass tools, guardians can now manage recurring care hours much faster and make bookings for multiple siblings simultaneously. Staff tools for marking absences have also been streamlined.
• E-invoice export (Finvoice and Peppol): Invoices can be exported from VakaCloud as electronic Finvoice and Peppol invoices.
• Usability: The update unifies the presentation of event and announcement images and includes improvements to the overall fluency of the Kiosk view.

Impacts of the Maintenance

The update will be performed outside normal working hours on Friday, October 16, starting at 18.00. There will be service interruptions during the maintenance, and using or logging into the application will be temporarily suspended. Please log in again if your session expires during the update.
