VakaCloud Update, Bulk Messages for Staff, Read Receipts, and Longer Messages

We will be performing scheduled updates and maintenance on the VakaCloud service on Saturday, September 12th. This update focuses on enhancing our communication tools to ensure an even smoother flow of information between home and daycare.

New Features and Improvements​

  • Bulk Messages for Staff: Employees can now send the same message to multiple recipients simultaneously. This matches the functionality already available to guardians and significantly speeds up routine daycare communication.
  • Read Receipts: Read receipts have been added to events, announcements, and files. Senders will now be able to see exactly who has received and read the information.
  • Extended Message Length: We have increased the maximum message length. This allows for more detailed and comprehensive communication without the need to split information into multiple separate messages.

Impacts of the Maintenance​

There will be service interruptions during the maintenance, and logging into or using the application may be temporarily unavailable. Please log in again if your session expires during the update.
